The Cowichan Valley Amateur Radio Society is in need of donations in order to upgrade the batteries and the power system for the VE7RNA and 6m VE7AQW repeaters on Mount Brenton. These repeaters have a huge footprint and when they went off last time, quite a big chunk of Vancouver Island and parts of the mainland went quiet.
