On 147.22 MHz + T100.0 Hz

  1. Good morning / evening and welcome to the Sun Coast Amateur Radio Club Society net for this Tuesday morning / Thursday evening [DATE]. This is [CALLSIGN], my name is [NAME] and my QTH is [TOWN] on the Sunshine Coast.
  2. This is our regular Tuesday morning / Thursday evening net, we also have an additional net on Thursday evening at 19:30 hours / Tuesday morning at 09:30 hours
  3. Additional information about our club can be found on our website at scarcs.ca
  4. To begin the net, we will be using the Sun Coast Amateur Radio Club Society repeater, VE7RXZ located at Cottle Hill in Nanaimo on a frequency of 147.22 MHz with a + offset and a Tone of 100 Hz. The repeater is operational 24/7 and also connected to the Echolink & IRLP networks.
  5. At the end of the net, we will move to the simplex frequency of 146.565 MHz followed by 446.100 MHz, and ending with 3750 kHz to check for signal reports.
  6. Before we begin the net, are there any reports of Sick or Injured club members?
  7. Are there any announcements for the good of the net?
    • The coffee break this Saturday will be at [Tims in Gibsons / Straight Coffee or Pier 17 in Wilson Creek] at 9:30. All are welcome.
    • The next monthly meeting will be Saturday [DATE] at the watermark at 9:30
  8. Before we start the regular rotation, we’ll check to see if there are any mobile or portable stations first, then we'll check Echolink, and finally, “in and out” stations who can't stay for the whole net:
    • Mobile or portable stations only please.
    • Echolink stations only please [leave at 5 second pause].
    • In and out stations who can't stay for the duration of the net.
  9. The roll call will be in geographic rotation; please check in when your area is called.
    This being the morning net, we will now go through the first round quickly, and then come back to the top of the list for a second round.
    This being the evening net, there will only be one round to give time for the simplex portions that will follow.
    • Gibsons
    • Roberts Creek, Wilson Creek, and Davis bay
    • Sechelt
    • Halfmoon Bay and Northwards
    • Vancouver Island or the mainland
    • Late or missed stations

On 146.565 MHz

  2. This is [CALLSIGH] calling the VHF simplex portion of the Sun Coast Amateur Radio Club Society net. I’ll go through the roll call once quickly and then a second time to get signal reports from everyone.
  3. I’ll now close the VHF simplex portion of the net and return the frequency to general use. [CALLSIGN] clear and QSY to 446.100.

On 446.100 MHz

  1. Is this frequency in use?
  2. This is [CALLSIGN] calling the UHF simplex portion of the Sun Coast Amateur Radio Club Society net. I’ll go through the roll call once quickly and then a second time to get signal reports from everyone.
  3. I’ll now close the UHF simplex portion of the net and return the frequency to general use. [CALLSIGN] clear and QSY to 3750 kHz

On 3750 kHz

  1. Is this frequency in use?
  2. This is [CALLSIGN] calling the HF simplex portion of the Sun Coast Amateur Radio Club Society net. I’ll go through the roll call once quickly and then a second time to get signal reports from everyone.
